Regarding code snippets in refactoring course

Abdulla 10 months ago updated by Alexander Shvets 10 months ago 1
HI, I want to buy refactoring course but I am not sure if it contains python examples in it.
In free section I can find code snippets in different langs including python but purchasable course description says it only contains php, java and c#. I am a little bit confused
Can you please let me know if it has python snippets in it?
Thanks

Hi!

Thanks for asking! I'm sorry, but the current edition of the refactoring course doesn't support Python. As you might have noticed, we have the Python snippets in the refactoring section, which may imply that the course does have Python coverage, but alas, there are live examples in the course that aren't translated to Python yet.

I plan to add the Python version to the second edition of the refactoring course. This new edition will be available as a free upgrade to all existing customers. The release date is currently unknown as plenty of work still needs to be done. Besides, the recent events in my home country are hardly helping me focus on this front, unfortunately.

Still, please note that the course is language-agnostic, so you can apply all the gained knowledge to any OOP-focused programming language. Thus if you can read Java, C#, or PHP, you don't have to wait for the second edition.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
