How can I help translate to Spanish?
I'm happy to present you with the Spanish version of the website:
For now, only the patterns side is translated. I'm delaying the translation of the refactoring section until I'm finished with the second edition of the refactoring course. I just don't want to waste translation effort on things that might change in the future.
The design patterns book is also fully translated:
We have put a lot of effort and thought into this translation, this is truly a result of love. If you still find some issues, please send me a message and I'll fix it. Until then, please enjoy the content and share it with your friends.
Thanks for your offer! We might consider translating the website to Spanish in the future. If you don't mind, we will contact you when there is some certainty regarding the translation plans.
I can help too
I can help too! Please let's do this!
I can help too when you consider to start translating, keep up the good work.
Hello! I can help too!
Me too. If @Alexander Shvets doesn't have a problem (obviously because content has intellectual rights), we can start a repository and push web site translations, what do you think?
Hooray! I'm finally ready to start the Spanish localization project. We'll start with design patterns, both the website and the book. According to my past localization experience, it will take around 4 months to complete, so stay tuned.Right now I'm building a pool of candidates from whom I'll select the primary translator and editor. If anyone is willing to take one of these roles, you're free to apply to this job: https://www.upwork.com/jobs/~01d9aebb182d5be3bb
On the other hand, I'd be also very grateful for beta-review of the results, once they'll be ready. I assume that everyone who commented in this thread is okay with that, so I'll notify you guys when I have something ready to be reviewed. If anyone else wants to participate, just shoot me an email to email@example.com
When does the Spanish version of Dive into Design Pattern come out?
