Dive Into Design Patterns is amazing!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for writing "Dive Into Design Patterns." As someone studying software engineering, I’ve tried reading the Gang of Four’s book on design patterns multiple times because for some reason that's merely an optional discipline in my institution and yet I find it crucial for a software engineer. However, I always found it too dense and difficult to get through. I struggled with the overwhelming amount of theory and lengthy examples.
Then I came across your book, and frankly, I was skeptical about buying it at first because I typically don't trust online gurus. But it was on a discount and I was unable to make myself read the other book, so I decided to get it anyway. Your approach is so much more digestible and accessible, and it gives me everything I need to apply design patterns effectively without getting lost in unnecessary details. I love how you cover essential concepts like UML, SOLID principles, and composition in a concise and clear manner. It feels like the perfect balance between theory and practicality. After all, a classic may be great, but if it bores the hell out of you and you can’t get through it, there’s not much use in it. Your book, on the other hand, has kept me engaged from the start, and I feel much more confident in applying design patterns to real projects.
I appreciate how your explanations are simple yet comprehensive, and the use case examples for each pattern make them so much easier to understand. This book has already made a noticeable difference in how I approach software design, and I know it will continue to improve the structure and maintainability of my codebases.
